Career Orientation Program


The Operations Division provides the most critical element of our mission.
Responding to Fire, Medical, Motor Vehicle and Hazardous Materials Emergencies 24 hours a day seven days per week.

The Career Operations Division for year 2009 consisted of 24 personnel which operate out of 7 of the volunteer stations. The Career 24 hour Medic unit is stationed at the Warrenton Fire Departments EMS station.

The Volunteer Operations Division consists of 11 fire & rescue stations with 438 active volunteers and an additional 152 semi-active volunteers.

While our target response time standard is to have 4 firefighters or 2 EMS personnel on scene within 10 minutes 80% of the time, we are meeting this goal 68% during career support time (Monday – Friday 6 am to 6 pm) and 46% of the remaining time.
